I have had kidney pain for 2 weeks now (in both Kidneys). I first had a urinary tract infection, and I got rid of it as I usually do with drinking cranberry juice and lots of water , but the pain in my kidneys keeps coming back and Its not going away.
It all started after one week of drinking water from 5 gallon food grade water containers that we fill up at the local grocery store at they'er "Reverse Osmosis" water filtration machine. Before I filled them up, I cleaned the 5 gallon water containers out with an inexpensive bleach , I also treated the water with the bleach per instructions Id received many years ago in the military as a secondary way of disinfecting water when you can be sure its safe to drink. I now found out your not supposed to us any other bleach to disinfect water other than Clorox brand, Probably because there are some chemicals in the "OTHER INGREDIENTS" which are not listed on the bleach bottle that are highly toxic to the human body. Any way Im not sure if there was some chemicals that I was poisoned with in the bleach treated water , or perhaps The filter in the water machine I was using was not changed at proper intervals and released some built up toxins back in the water that I then drank for a week , Or maybe the medications Im on are the problem, all I know is after 2 weeks the pain in my kidneys wont go away. Ive been continually drinking cranberry juice and lots of water for the last 2 weeks and though the UTI is gone the pain persist.

My symptoms :
1) UTI (that is gone now and hasnt come back )
2) Im lethargic
3) I feel Week and tired
4) Lightbheaded at times
5) Pain level from 1-10, between 4-8

Questions :
1) What would you do if you were me ?
2) At this point should I just go to the emergency room ?
3) Should I should get a urin test ?
4) Should I also get a blood test?
5) If I get these tests done what numbers would I want
to pay attention to?
6) Are ther any other tests or exams you'd do?
