Hello Doctor, I had to endure a very unjust and untimely ending of a relationship, and even though I had endured several serious losses...family deaths as well as childhood dare devil injuries and was pretty sound with that stuff until this happened. I was 31 yrs old and was doing well with work and responsibilities. After the abandonment I was so distraught I went first, to a clinical psychologist for 6 months and even took the MMPI. Was found to have mild OC and hyperactivity. Then I went to a psychiatrist for a year. During that time we had tried a half dozen medications and nothing changed. Meds were stopped. Therapy stopped. He couldn't do anything else. Despair continues.from 1992.
