Hello Doctor, I Am 56yrs Of Age And Due To

Hello Doctor,
I am 56yrs of age and due to have cervical spine surgery on 3/10/16. To proceed, my Orthopedic Surgeon requested medical clearances from both my Cardiologist and PCP. While the Cardiologist cleared me without hesitation; BP 115/71, heart lungs fine...etc. My Primary Care Physician would not due to elevated liver enzymes; ALT 110 & AST 57. While I have been diagnosed with "fatty liver" in the past, a recent ultrasound of all abdominal organs returned negative. This included and extensive pass of my liver. My doctor wants me to take another blood test as early as 2 days since the last, to see a positive change before administering clearance.... 2 days? Should this be a 'game changer' in the first place? I know, when I used to drink alcohol my enzymes were much higher and still had surgery. BTY; I've had C6/7 and C5/6 fused, 4 shoulder surgeries (including a RT shoulder replacement), knee surgery and a toe joint implant. Not to mention numerous broken bones. Liked to play my sports hard, in the past. Now the Osteoarthritis from the past is catching up. What say you PLEASE..
