Headache, Red Spots On Head, Sore Neck After Head Injury. Anything To Worry About?

Hi dr. I'm 15 years old . Yesterday I was on my skateboard and fell and hit my head pretty hard . Later on in the day I had a headache and I told my sister to check my head and she said I have red spots . The next morning I woke up with a sore neck . Is this anything I should be worring about ? Should I go see a doctor ?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

You must observe yourself for one day. If your headache is increasing in severity, there is vomiting, dizziness, loss of consciousness, blurring of vision or loss of memory, you must consult neurosurgeon in ER immediately.

If you do not have any danger symptoms mentioned above, you can relax.

Hope this helps
