Having Noticed Frequent Vomiting Due To Indigestion

My sister is experiencing vomitting -sudden, unexpected, not associated with eating immediately prior to the vomitting. This may occur 2 or more hours after eating and the food is undigested. She says she is not getting an acidic taste in her mouth. Would she benefit from having pH manometry done to determine if her stomach is not producing enough acid to digest her food? She has also noticed her stools are more loose and more orange in color. Thanks
