Having Large Blisters On Legs, Recurring. Underlying Cause?

I'm trying to find some info for a girlfriend of mine. She has 3-4 large blisters on her legs. They are scabbing over, a couple look infected, but each doctor she has gone to doesn't know what it is. She had them in 2009 on her feet, hands and scalp and they have returned. They are very uncomfortable and she wants to know what's causing them.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
I would come up with these possibilities for this type of bumps , these includes.
1 Fibroma as most fibroma are combined with mesothelial tissue such as muscle ( known as fibromyoma),fat ( fibrolipoma)nerve sheath ( neurofibroma). Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination and biopsy ( excision surgery).
2 Lipoma , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a surgeon as these are fat deposition tumors and multiple in nature.
3 Neurofibromatois may be the next reason.
In my opinion consult a surgeon and get his opinion ( 2nd).
Good luck. Dr. HET
