Sir my name is Geetal and I am from Chandigarh India I was having prolonged cold and cough I went to lab for a blood test and my all the parameters are Ok but the thing that worrying me is the tlc counts it is 0000 that means on the border level should it be a alarming sign or its due to cough and cold as I haven't taken any medicine for it. And what are the precautions I have to take.

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Normal leucocyte count is between 4000to 11000 cells per mms. As cold is usually caused by virus, it's quite natural to see reduced leucocyte count during viral infection as compared to bacterial infection in which the counts can be elevated. So there seems to be no cause of worry, rest be assured everything is alright.

In case you have any other query kindly get back to me.

Take care
