Have Been Having Dark Honey Colored Small Spots On My Neck. The Number Of Spots And Also The Size Are Increasing. Using Demelan. Concerned? Treatment?

I am 19 years old. I have been having dark honey colored small spots on my neck from my childhood on wards .But the number of spots are increasing recently and the size of them is also being increased.I am very worried about it. And I don't want them to increase anymore now.My doctor has advised me to use Demelan recently. Would it show any results?
