Had Small Crusted Red Spot On Arm, Burns, Looks Like A Cigarette Burn

My son had a small red spot on his arm that started out as almost pinpoint in size, over the past 3 days it as grown slightly larger than a pea, appears deeper but only slightly, it is crusted, no warmth or redness. He states it burns, no drainage. Looks almost like a cigarette burn. I am an ER nurse an I haven't seen anything like it
