Had Molar Tooth Removal. Swollen Eyelid. Taken Cetrizine. Reason?
My wife aged 36 removed one of her molar tooth in the right of lower jaw. After an hour the lower eyelid of her left eye started swelling and got puffed .After treating with Citrezine , the puffiness subsidized a little. What is reason behind the swelling of lower eyelid during the removal of tooth. Please prescribe a medicine for the cause.
Hello Your wife may be allergic to certain anaesthetics which are used for the tooth extraction,or could be due to an inflammation induced from the molar tooth extraction. As it has reduced after the Cetrizine tablet,I would continue the same for 5 days. Hope she gets well soon. Thanks.
