Had Laser Iridotomy Done. Having Floaters In Right Eye. My Doublr Vision Has Enhanced. What Is Happening?

I am 35 years old and had laser iridotomy done on both eyes this month due to narrow angles. i also had a visual attack but it was not confirmed whether or not it was due to my angles closing. So for preventive purposes I had the laser done. However, now in my right eye I have floaters that were not there prior to laser (dilated eyes after and checked all ok), squiggly line in left eye. These are both noticeable during the day or at night in bright areas, white walls, tv, etc. Also, in the left eye i have glare at night and during the day when looking at a window. Do you think within time, they symptoms will dissipate or are you going to tell me that I will just have to get use to it bc the procedure outweighs the side effects? Also, when I was younger I had strabismus surgery on both eyes which resulted in double vision afterwards. I have learned to deal with it and depend on the left eye and shut off the double visionon the right. But after the laser, my doublr vision has enhanced and is more pronounced if that makes any sense?

Hello

It appears that proper healing has not yet occurred completely in your eye after the surgery. You should continue using the medicines prescribed by your surgeon till healing is complete. Sometimes, some inflammation occurs in the deeper structures of the eye like vitreous which causes floater or the line you see. So, you should take some anti-inflammatory drugs orally twice a day for about 1 week.

In my opinion, increased problem of double vision should not be related with the iridotomy surgery you have undergone.

Regards
