Had A Mole That Has Changed Colour, Shape, Hurt And Is Itchy. What Could Be The Reason?

I had a mole that has changed twice over the past week. I have been to the doctor and he has referred my to a skin specialist because I have a lot of other moles and he said it was better to get all of them checked. The problem is this appointment is 5 weeks away. Is this too late to wait. The mole has changed colour, shape and has hurt and been itchiness.

moles which usually do not change...but when they change in colour,size,consistency,itching..it is always better to get it examined by a dr as early as possible..
if you cant get an dermatologist consultation i suggest you to see a surgeon/oncologist who can help you..
