Had A Hip Replacement. Ended Up With Gram Negitive Bacillius And Ecoli. Have Weakness, Ulna Damaged. Problem?

Thank you. I had a hip replacement July of 2012. From the surgical setting, I was told, ended up with gram negitive bacillius and ecoli. I was in the hospital untril Oct 3rd, with the last 8 weeks on vankomyacin (IV drip - 2000 ml per day). Many side effects - weakness, damage to the ulna nerve where my pic was, and too much more to mention.

My husband had an emergency by-pass surgery on his leg (60 inch insition) due to a blood clot from his knee to his ankle. He was in the hospital 2 months and was granted a great of MRSA and pseudomonous. Are we in a hell of a mess?
