Had A Colonoscopy About 10 Days Ago. They Told Me

Had a colonoscopy about 10 days ago. They told me they had to use a suction my throat because it was possible I aspirated during the procedure. Said my throat may be sore for a few days and I was told to cough every Hour. They said my lungs were clear before I left the surgical center. Post surgical instructions said to call if there was a persistent cough which I haven't done. Throat soreness is going away but I am still coughing periodically. Is it related or should I be concerned?
