Got Hit By A Softball On Knee, On Antibiotics, Skin, Leg Burns Periodically, Leg, Foot And Toes Seem To Swell And Hurt. Cure?

I got hit by a softball 2 weeks ago today and it looks like I have a second knee ,the doctor has me on antibiotics teh past 2 days, however, the skin near the bruise and down my leg burns periodically and my leg, foot and toes seem to swell and hurt . The bump itself is below my knee by 4 inches,it protrudes from my leg by 1.5 inches and is about 3 by 4 inches long. They are talking about trying to suck the blood out if it doesn t go down. they said it s infected but there is no pain in teh bump itself .

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. I believe you want reassurance about the procedure itself. I also understand that you are already seeing a doctor who is giving you good treatment. I recommend that you trust your doctor and make sure that you are having good follow-ups with the same doctor which will help your situation immensely. I hope this helps relieve your anxiety.

Take care and have a lovely day!
