Good Evening, Nice To Meet You, My Husband And I

Good evening, nice to meet you, my husband and I have made a decision to discontinue my birth control and try and conceive. I have been consistently on birth control for the last 5 or 6 years. I am concerned at this point because I stopped the birth control in November and I have not gto a period since then. I know my body needs time to adjust but I read it should only take a few weeks and then your cycles should be more regular and I am now going on a few months of no period. I was on the birth control ortho cycle. is this normal? or should I have started a regular cycle by now? thank you
