Gaining Weight. Flab Is Bothering. Tried Working Out And Eating Right. What To Do?

I'm 18, and i feel like i am gaining weight but i think its maybe because i hit puberty late and started drinking with my friends when i was 17, i used to be about 130 and now I'm 140. It might be a healthy weight, but my "flab" has been bothering me to the point where i think i'm fat. A few months ago i started working out and eating right and kept that going for about 2 months and didn't lose ONE SINGLE POUND. My body stays the same no matter if i work out and eat healthy or sit around and eat junk food.... What should i do?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Weight loss can be difficult sometimes, it can take a while but it is important not to give up.

To lose weight you need to focus more on your diet.
Exercise is important for general fitness and heart health, it also plays a role in keeping the weight off once it has been loss.

There are two main types of diets: the low fat/low calorie diet and the low carb diet.
There is initial faster weight loss with the low carb diet.
This involves (1) reducing your use of carbohydrates such as sodas, rice, pastry, pasta, potatoes (2) using any amount of protein (3) using alot of water
(4) you can use salads and low carb vegetables

If you find it difficult to lose weight on your own you can consider either visiting a doctor that specialises in this area or joining an on line weight loss program.

I hope this helps
