I experience episodes of time distortion for a few minutes sometimes. It has usually been brought on by waking/getting out of bed abruptly. it feels as though time has sped up yet slowed down at the same time. there is a rhythm to it. i have them randomly. i had one two weeks ago, two days in a row. but havent had any since.

Psychologist 's  Response
Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

human mind is so powerful in a lot of aspects such as this. You are mentioning a very common problem here which happens with almost all the human beings. Disorientation with the present conditions after a sound sleep is very common. But if you see this as a negative condition and start worrying, the problem might seem larger and larger.
Consult a psychologist for counseling.
good luck.
