For the past 2 days I have had a sharp shooting pain (lancinating) in the left part of my head, it starts right by my ear canal and shoots off towards the back of my head. The shooting pain only lasts about 3-5 seconds but they seem to come and go a few times a min. It has been been on again off again for hours at a time and each time it happens it causes my right eye to water and i flinch. I don't know what triggers the pain but i do know the area around it it sensitive. When i run my fingers through my hair I can feel where the pain was and it almost feels sore.

The first night i woke up from the pain and wasn't able to go back to sleep. It seems to be getting lighter and not so debilitating but it still causing concern.
