For the last week I have been coughing up a plug of brown mucus in the morning . Never had this before I unfortunately have adhesive arachnoiditis gifted to me by an ESI put directly into my spinal cord which coagulated cause scar tissue to grow and strangle the nerves in my spinal cord. this is just a sidenote. I have to consume tier 5 medications to manage the pain, there is no cure. I've been on the medications now for four years . Could this have anything to do with it or do I just need to rinse my sinuses out? I live in Southern California and about 15 minutes away from the beach so we do have a marine layer . I also more recently have had serious acid reflex and nausea so I avoid eating before sleeping . I don't wanna get sidetracked I want to focus on the brown mucus it is very hard to get it to come up and it feels like it's coming from the lungs but not sure . I have to work pretty hard to get it to come up and out the consistency would be that of caulking .
