For over a year now, I have had random sore throats. I went to my doctor, and she ran several tests, but everything came out normal. The sore throats come and go without a specific cause. One moment I don't have a sore throat, and the next moment I do. I have tried not using several brands of mouthwash, but that does not seem to be a factor. Over the counter throat lozenges do not decrease the pain. It is a burning in the back of my throat.
