Feeling A Throbbing Pain At The Center Of The Chest

Hello. I am working from home and about 30min ago i started to feel a dull throbbing pain in the center of my chest right in middle. I am sitting on a chair all day so have not been really exerting myself. It has been kind of painful, im not sure how to describe it, like it hurts a bit kind of annoying at some point enough to make me grimace but at others that i doubt it is still even there but then it comes back. What should i do? I don t have any other pains anywhere else, just seems localized to my chest.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion, we should first rule of cardiac cause for your chest pain.
So consult cardiologist and get done
1. Ecg
2. 2d echo to rule out cardiac cause.
If both of the above tests are normal then no need to worry much for cardiac cause.
Gastritis can also cause similat central chest pain.
So avoid stress and tension.
Avoid hot and spicy food.
Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. And start Proton pump inhibitors.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
