Earlier This Month I Had What I Considered A Low

Earlier this month I had what I considered a low grade cold. Early on a I had a one issue with nausea but the symptoms subsided. Mostly for about two and a half weeks I've had low level nausea and waves of very slight fever and occasional muscle joint pain. Last Friday, it peaked where I went to bed feeling warm and shivering. I was swore, nauseous, slightly feverish all Saturday. When I wok up Sunday I was fine and slowing went into the same pattern of slight nausea, a little fatigue and slight fever. I was that it this would just work itself out, but I think it's time to go to a doctor. Any idea besides just cold or flu that is persistent? Thanks for your help.
