Duvadilan is related to what type of medication?

My age is 34, 5 inches, i am now in 8 month of pregnancy, and my doctor prescribed me duvadilan medicine to me so i would like to know what type of medication it is and why it is used for.

duvadilan is uterine relaxant and used in premature uterine contraction to stop the contraction so that pregnancy can go further maturity towards term
37 weeks completed is taken as mature baby and 40 wks is the term

it is type of vasodilator drug
it is b adrenergic agonist use as tocolytic .
it use in pregnancy to relax the uterine and vascular smooth muscle ,so use in premature labour

Duvadilan is a uterus relaxant given to prevent early delivery due to irritable uterus. This medication will prolong delivery till the normal time of delivery. Have you had any problem of this sort in your previous pregancies.
