Drips From Nose While Bending, Headache, Got Hit On Head. Had Cold Weeks Earlier. Any Ideas?

I had a piece of wood drop on my head out of the attic on Sunday, and It hurt but have felt fine, but I seem to have drips from my nose when I bend over. I've had a really bad cold over the past couple of weeks so that may be that and just have a bit of a headache where it hit me so I think it's just bruising. What do you think?

I have gone through your query regarding drips from nose on bending, there is headache also and unfortunately you had got injury over your head few days back.

I think most likely you are having C.S.F.Rhinorrhea , this may be because of your injury over head because your clinical history is very typical for this particular disease. You are saying about bad cold that may be due to leakage of C.S.F. in nose and thus you are not getting relief by anti cold treatment.

To confirm the diagnosis you should do-

1- C.T.Scan paranasal sinuses.

2- Cytological and biochemical examination of fluid coming out from nose.

By these two basic investigations one may reach to real problem and accordingly that can be manage.
