Hi Dear, Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of ear ache which can occur due to accumulation of earwax, ear fluid, ear infection and due to eustachian tube dysfunction. It could be due to TMJ dysfunction as well. Need not to worry. Massage with olive oil is a temporary solution to your condition as it is increasing blood supply in that area and giving relief. If your symptoms and episodes of earache are getting frequent then you should consult ENT specialist and start treatment after prescription. Doctor may order certain test like audiometry, low and high pitched ringing to rule out conditions like hearing loss , exposure to loud noises , earwax build-up , middle ear infection. Doctor may treat it according to the diagnosis , may prescribe medicine antibiotics. Doctor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives.
