Iam a 26 yrs men. I am suffering from my hair fall problem. in my scalp lot of dandruff are seen. The MINOXIDIL medicine is good for hair fall? And its have any side effects? And iam which person to consult my hair fall prblm? A dermatolagist or a cosmetolagist?

Yes minoxidil is recommended for treatment of hair fall (male pattern baldness/androgenic alopecia). It promotes hair growth but effect is seen after 4 - 6 months of use. It common side effects are burning or irritation of the eye, itching, redness or irritation at the treated area and unwanted hair growth elsewhere on the body. For dandruff you can use Scalpe shampoo twice weekly. You should consult good dermatologist of your local area for this problem.
