Does Uncontrolled Head Shaking Require Medical Attention?

I have a friend, 58 years old, that seems to have developed an uncontrolled head shaking. It is slight and I don t think she realizes it but is there any cause to be concerned or say something about it? She is a single woman living alone and has a few joint issues but other than that, seems ok.
