Does Thyroid Storm Cause Palpitations In The Chest?

Hi, My name is Crystal. I was diagnosed with Graves disease years back and given treatment. My Thyroid was radioactively shut down and I was put on Levothyroxine. I currently have not been able to get to my doctor to be prescribed more and it has been 2 months at most. Recently I began to have palpitations in the chest and they have been going for two days. Is it possible it is a thyroid storm if the thyroid is no longer active?
