hi.. i have a question about thyriod. i had a surgery 5 years back i only took the medicine for 2 years and its been 3 years almost that i havent take. now my doctor prescribe me again over the phone. i kinda start having the symptoms again . i havent got my period almost from 2 months. please help me out and satisfy me. i frequently go for urine .is that related to the thyriod too?>
Before restarting treatment for thyroid disease I would recommend to check the thyroid hormones (TSH, FT4 and FT3). Then the treatment will be decided according to the results.
Usually thyroid problems do not cause frequent urination, an urinary infection should be excluded.
