Does The Use Of Flucloxacillin Cause Excessive Sleepiness?
Hi my wife been on flucloxacillin for 10 weeks now 6 on IV and 4 on oral 20ml 4 times a day . Just in the past week she been very tired she wakes up feeling bright then as day progresses is sleeping more her speech is soft could this be the result of the antibiotic

Can you mention what was the indication for the drug? Rather than the drug itself, these symptoms may be from the underlying condition also. Flucloxacillin usually will not cause significant sedation.
