Does The Sentinel Pile Be Eventually Cured While On Treatment For Anal Fissure?

Hi, I went to the doctor this week because I felt some pain when going to the bathroom and a couple of days later I noticed that around my anus there was a red swollen spot. He saw me and said it was a cronic anal fissure, sent me some cream and stuff to apply.
Now that the swelling has come down a bit I see I have a sentinel pile- will that eventually fall off or go away? I've been looking into the subject online and there's so much information I'm really scared about this.

Hello,

Sentinel tag usually does not fall off by any measures, yes it does remain asymptomatic with sitz bath, dietary measures to keep stools soft. If much annoying surgical excision is recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
