Does Taking Laxatives And Vitamin C Cause Miscarriage?

Dear Doctor, I just recently found out that I am pregnant. I went binge drinking with my fiancé, suffered cold and bloating and had to take laxatives and vitamin c. I just read online that these may cause miscarriage or deformity in a child. I m scared and worried to death. My last period was on the 27/7/16 so I m guessing I m about 3 weeks pregnant. Could my baby be endangered by all those intakes? Thank you

no it is not true very strong purgative can have some effect.need not be scared can report this too doctor who is taking antenatal care.can go for monitoring of fetus health by observing its mobility , foetal heart sound..
