Does Taking Chestnut Seed Extract While On Lipitor, Amlodipine And Thyroxine Cause Any Drug Interactions?

I am currently taking unfiltered apple cider vinegar for left leg edema, without any change in the condition. I also take Lipitor, Amlodipine, Asartan and Thyroxin. I would like to discontinue the vinegar treatment and try horse chestnut seed extract, 300 mg capsule 2/day. Would there be any danger of interaction with these drugs?

Hello,

Whatever you are taking may not interact with the medicines you are taking but even may not be benefited so it is advisable to avoid taking these things, the medicines, Amlodipine, Asartan, Thyroxin, Lipitor, may not interact with the apple cider vinegar.

Only thing is chestnut should not increase the cholesterol and care need to be taken for this.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
