Does Taking An Increased Dosage Of Acetaminophen For Pain Management Cause Side Effects?

I was taking oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-325. My doctor put me on morphine and could not take, I wanted to go back to oxycodone /acetaminophen 5-325 my dose 2 tab, 3 times a day, now he perscribed oxycodone /acetaminophen 7.5-325 every 4 hours for pain. Did he lower the dose and is making me take more?

The previous dosage was a total of 60 mg oxycodone drug and 1950 mg acetaminophen drug in 24 hours. The current schedule is of 45 mg oxycodone drug and 1950 mg acetaminophen drug.

So, he has reduced the dosage and made you take more times in fractions.

If the pain is better control with this regimen, then adhere to it to avoid possible side effects of the same.
