Does Taking A Contraceptive Pill Before Intercourse Prevent Pregnancy?
10 days earlier , I and my gf had sex , but before sex she had unwanted 72 , after that we had sex in the next two days. But no had another tab of unwanted 72. My question is that when unwanted 72 should taken after the sex or before the sex. Is there chances of pregnancy. If yes what should I do to check whether pill is failed or not. What is solution now. Pls respond asap.
Hello dear I understand your concern Unwanted should be taken after the sex up to 72 hour. Better to take with in 24 hours of the sex as it has high efficacy. As your gf took pill before 2 days, It will not protect against the pregnancy. If you have sex in fertile phase of the cycle then high chance of the pregnancy. You can take Another unwanted 72 with in 72 hours of sex to prevent the pregnancy. If 72 hours has been crossed then you have to wait for the period. If period will not come and you will be pregnant then you can terminate the pregnancy by abortion pill under the advise of the gynecologist. Avoid stress, take healthy diet and do regular exercise. Hope this may help you

It is estimated that it prevents about 85% of expected pregnancies and so will not prevent a pregnancy in every instance. So, there is a chance of pregnancy even if is taken within the stipulated time.
The only way to check its success or failure is do the pregnancy test if your girlfriend misses her next period and develops nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, etc.
Hope these answer your queries.
