Does Taking Warfarin And Plavix Together Cause Any Dangerous Drug Interactions?

I have been on Warfarin for a number years for Atrial Fibrillation. I recently had a coronary artery stent implanted in my right coronary artery and have been put on Plavix in addition to the Warfarin. I ve been taking an 81mg aspirin as well but I will be quitting the aspirin tomorrow as it s been 2 weeks since the stent was implanted. I ve read some older studies about the risks of Warfarin and Plavix together that are pretty scary and am interested in if there are recent studies regarding the interaction of these 2 drugs.

Taking Warfarin and Plavix together can cause bleeding risk. Blood levels should be measured frequently to avoid any risk of bleeding.
