Does Taking Levonorgestrel And Ethinyl Estradiol Cause Weight Gain?

Hi,Could Levonorgestrel and etinilestradiol cause weight gain?I get off pill 3 years ago but. I was taking it for 10 years and during that time I gained almost 20 lbs. Even after I stop I never menage to get rid of weight. I need to say that I have my daily exercises routine and very moderate eating habits.Will I be ever able to get rid of this extra Ibs. I really appreciate your concern, it is being seen practically that with the hormone medicine in female patient if taken for no pathological cause then weight being increases (No authentic data available for this ) and the incidence of such cases is little high, better to avoid hormone therapy if it is not indicated, hope this information helps, take care.
