Does Taking Flexeril And Cyclobenzaprine After Having Beer Cause Any Complications?

His wt is 280lbs, 6 2 . He just took a 10mg generic version of flexeril. Cyclobenzapr. He had maybe 6 beers. He has been working and lifting at work. This happened Sunday morning while tying his shoe. He is extremely hard working. Please advise... Thank you

Yes, it may cause harmful interactions.

Consuming alcohol or alcohol beverages like beer along with a muscle relaxant like Flexeril (Cyclobenzaprine) can increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, difficulty concentrating, impairment in thinking, judgment, and motor coordination which may result in falls and related injuries.

He should avoid or limit the use of alcohol or alcohol containing beverages while being treated with Flexeril and avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as swimming, driving or operating hazardous machinery.
