Does Taking Dayquil While On Lamictal Cause Any Drug Interaction?

I am on Lamictal for epilepsy and have been for several years. Tonight, though, I am more congested than I have ever been in my life (that I remember). I can absolutely not breathe at all through my nose and feel like my head will explode whenever I swallow. I got up and took a hot steamy shower for about an hour or so and was finally able to breathe again through my nose. However, within minutes after, I again can not breathe at all through my nostrils and feel like my sinuses are swelling to the point of explosion. I am in a hotel, and they have Dayquil I could buy. However, I do not know if it will interact negatively with the Lamictal. Are you able to research to find out if it would?

Hi,

These two does not interact with each other.

The symptom complex you are experiencing may be due to something else and has to be evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
