Does Taking Collagen Hydrolysate Cause Weight Gain?

Can taking collagen hydrolysate cause weight gain? I am 69 and have gained about 15 pounds in about 4 months. The only thing I ve done different is to stop tramadol, trazodone and Cymbalta last summer, and I ve started taking the collagen hydrolysate.

No, the collagen hydrolysate wouldn't cause weight gain, but you may have developed a low thyroid condition so you should have your doctor check your thyroid function with blood tests
