Does Taking Betamethasone Trigger Pain In Ankle Due To CRPS?

I have CRPS of the right ankle. I had a dislocation with fracture on the fibula side. I have pain in the joint on the front of the ankle and on the tibia side. Diagnosis is Synovitis of the ankle. Recommended treatment with Betamethasone injection. Pain is flaring up the CRPS the more I walk. Would this injection cause an increase in the CRPS response or would getting the injection cause less pain in the long run because the pain would no longer be flaring up the CRPS. Any information on noninvasive procedures in treating CRPS in general would also be appreciated.
