Does Stress Cause A Painless Blemish Near Back Of Tongue?

My inquiry is to find out what has caused a non-painful blemish on the left-side, near the back of the tongue? It appears from looking at it, that it's a pimple looking bump without a head - about 3/16" in diameter, and has been there for a week. Is it because I've been fighting a cold coming on, is it stress related or is it because I'm taking too many vitamins and my system is exposing an internal escape through this blemish?

Hello, thank you for consulting with healthcaremagic.
This blemish which you are mentioning can be an aphthous ulcer, which might have occurred because of stress. These ulcers heals within 10- 14 days. So if this blemish disappear within 14 days then there is nothing to worry about it.
But if it does not goes after that also then you should visit a good dentist to get it completely examined and treated.
Hope it will help you.
