Hi,

The relationship between weight gain and birth control pills is a fiery one. While many women may report no changes in their weight, some swear that they’ve packed on a few pounds after starting the pill.

If you’ve gained some pounds over the duration of your time with birth control, it’ll be a struggle to lose weight once you stop taking the pill.

Coming to the first part of your question, low-dose birth control pills may put you at higher risk for both chronic pelvic pain syndrome and pain during sex.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
