Does Stoppage Of Depiwhite + Elocon Cream Aggravate Pigmentation?

During pregnancy I developed pigmentation on my cheeks and nose and i am using depiwhite + elocon cream in 1:1 ratio twice daily since 3-4 months. this has reduced the spots a little but they are not completely gone. I am told by some friends to discontinue using it since this will aggrevate the problem in later stage on darken the skin once i discontinue using them. Please suggest what should I do ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain Depiwhite is a depigmentation cream containing Kojic acid, Hydroquinone and other ingredients and does not seems to cause any severe side effects..
On the other hand Elocon contains Mometasone Furoate and it is true that as it is a steroid it can cause severe side effects and can cause increased pigmentation, skin thinning, pimples, and excess hairgrowth on face..
I would suggest you that you should not use Elocon for large number of days and should stop using it..
You can continue with Depiwhite and can also use other formulations containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid and arbutin,
Vitamin E gel and crams can also help..
You can use Azeic acid preparations..
Use salicylic acid facewash..
Exfoliate your skin twice a week..
Drink plenty of water and take nutritious food..
