Does Spotting While Trying To Conceive Indicate Pregnancy?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I'm trying to conceive...since last 15 days i'm taking ovacare...mine is 28 days cycle...but on the 23rd day i saw some spotting ...again today (26th day) i saw some spotting...what does that mean...am i pregnant??
Pregnancy symptoms vary widely between women, and many of the same symptoms people associate with pregnancy like spotting, breast tenderness, bloating, nausea and mood changes can also been caused by irregular hormones. Therefore, there is no way to know if you are pregnant based on symptoms, and the most common sign of pregnancy is missing your period.
So, if you are having unprotected sex and are at risk for pregnancy, I suggest performing a urine pregnancy test if you miss your period. If you do not and continue to have irregular spotting, an examination by a gynecologist would be prudent to help diagnose the reason.
I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.
Best wishes,
Dr. Brown
