Does Sharp Pain In Back And Pain While Breathing Suggest Pulled Muscle?

Hi, my name is Aaron. I was doing some work around the house. I put a speaker on the wall and when I was done I got a sharp pain in my back. To the left of my right shoulder blade. It was worse when I put my arm up and pulled back like pulling a bow. It hurts when bending over and breathing in also. I work construction every day. it feels like the worst pulled muscle I have ever had. I don t feel a change in energy or shortness of breath.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that during putting speaker on the wall there might be having severe strain on shoulder muscle leading to spasm of muscles.
Take analgesic with muscle relaxant medicine for 2-3 days.
Apply muscle relaxant cream locally.
Give rest to the part.
Ok and take care.
