Does Putting A Tampon After Intercourse Increase Pregnancy Chances?

I am 22 years old and 5'1 in height.

Hi. I had unprotected sex yesterday on the last day of my period and started to bleed a little, which I usually do on my last day, and put a tampon in after. This may be a dumb question, but I feel like I'm trapping the sperm in there and may get pregnant, even though I've been on the pill for years and take it everyday. I guess it's just me being neurotic. So am I making it easier for the sperm to do what it wants to do?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Tampon will not trap sperms, and if it does so, your chances of getting pregnant are negligible as you are on pills( I presume oral contraceptive pills) . If you are taking pills on the same time of the day daily, then there is a failure rate of 0.1%, which is very low.
I suggest you not to worry.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
