Does Presence Of Cyst In The Nerves Of The Back Cause Pain In Lower Back And Legs?

I HAD AN MRI DONE AND IT SHOWES A SMALL CSYST FORMED IN LIKE THE MIDDLE OF MY NERVES THAT ARE CONECTED TO MY BACK. I FEEL A LOT OF PAIN IN MY LOWER BACK THAT GOES ALL THE WAY TO MY LEGS. SOMETIMES IT IS MY LEFT LEG AND OTHER TIMES THE PAIN IS IN MY RIGHT LEG. MEDICATIONS PROVE NOTHING BUT A WASTE OF MONEY. I TAKE IBOPROPHEN AND IT HELPS BUT THE PAIN IS ALWAYS THERE. IS SURGERY MY ONLY OPTION? I JUST WANT A SECOND OPTION.

HI
Well come to HCM
You have not given detail or important brief history here, MRI report is incomplete, your age and gender is missing here, if this is neurological condition then you need to have neurosurgeon's opinion and for that one need to go through complete clinical examination and doctor would study all the reports then and then you would be having second opinion, hope this information helps, take care.
