Does Playing Basketball Make A Person Feel Nauseous And Sweating?

Yes, my son (23 years old) was feeling fine all day and he went out to shoot a few hoops (literally a few minutes only). He came in and made himself something to eat. He sat down and in a couple of minutes started feeling light headed, was sweating from his forehead neck and chest and felt nauseous (he actually did vomit). He is otherwise very healthy, no history of anything.
